SOAR is a one-day camp experience designed to assist teens, grades 7-12, in coping with the death of a loved one. Any teen who has experienced the loss of a loved one is invited to attend. Participants will learn about ways to cope with grief and loss while making new connections and experiencing the excitement of Victory Junction.
Attached you will find the SOAR application. There is a $10 registration fee for camp to cover the cost of supplies, refreshments, and activities. Please note that the deadline for applications isSeptember 15, 2017. You may submit the application and registration fee in person or by mail, email or fax. Also, you can access the application and submit your registration fee online atwww.hospiceofrandolph.org. Scholarships are available for teens who have special financial circumstances. Contact our office to discuss financial assistance if you have a special need.
Any teen who has experienced the loss of a loved one is encouraged to attend SOAR. Please share this information with teachers, administrators, counselors, social workers, volunteers, and others you know who may benefit from the SOAR camp experience.
